Message From the Chair

On behalf of our competition committee, I want to thank everyone who participated in our 2011 event. We have some important changes to tell you about for 2012. First and most importantly, the competition will no longer be held in conjunction with the Bobcaygeon Fall Fair. In 2012, it will be held earlier, on September 8th and it will be housed in the Bobcaygeon Curling Club which is located on the Fairgrounds This provides more room for suppliers and for clubs to have display tables. Perhaps more importantly, it solves the problem of parking and traffic congestion that we have experienced in the past. The competition will still be a one day event.

We wish to thank the Bobcaygeon Fall Fair Committee for its support and indeed all of our sponsors without whom, the competition could not be held.

We have two great purchase award prizes for 2012 and wood burning is now a full category in each of the novice, intermediate and open classes. As you browse through our website, you can enjoy photos of many of our 2011 entries.
